Jim Morrison and his band The Doors came to prominence in Los Angeles in 1967. Their sound is a unique blend of excellent musicianship complemented by Morrisons inspired lyrics. There is still intense interest in the group today from students and teenagers through to those who remember the Doors the first time round.

The L.A. Doors make it possible to experience a Doors gig in the 1990s ,they play replica instruments and dress exactly as the Doors did thirty years ago. This is perhaps one of the reasons they were asked to do a show on BBC1. The shows are very well received as one spectator noted, "I closed my eyes and I heard the Doors, I opened my eyes and there they were."

Each show is as different as the people that come to see it but will always contain the hit songs of the Doors interwoven with Newsreel footage of political and social events of the time to create the sixties feel. The show also contains sixties lighting effects including bubble lamps and a large neon Whiskey a Go Go sign.

"This band are the closest thing you can get!" These are the words used to describe the L.A. Doors by the original Doors former lighting engineer The band have been critically acclaimed by the European Press. and have appeared on BBC 1, Independent Television and International Radio.

The L.A. Doors are Nigel Feist as Jim Morrison, Bullet as Ray Manzarek, Milton Vaughn as Robbie Krieger and Dave Hole as John Densmore. Together these committed musicians recreate the music which influenced a generation The band are internationally acclaimed and have played to thousands all over Europe making them the biggest Doors Tribute band in Europe.
